Optical CET

Welcome to the Optometry Blog’s Continuing Education and training (CET). The Optometry Blog is a unique and innovative way to receive your CET on an ongoing basis. It provides the opportunity to receive monthly CET Podcast articles for consumption at a time of your convenience which are accredited by the GOC, AOI, SAOA & OAA and are written by prominent and globally respected members of the Optical community.

To read online text-based distance learning articles and VRICS quizes youwill need Adobe Reader installed on your PC.  To download a free copy of Adobe Reader click on the icon. 

 

On a monthly basis you will receive notification via the Optometry Blog’s RSS feed that a new CET podcast is available for download along with a Multiple Choice Questionnaire. Once you have listened to the Podcast and have answered the Multiple Choice Questionnaire this is then returned to us for evaluation and your CET points are awarded accordingly therefore you can be sure to receive the pre-requisite amount of CET on an ongoing basis.

How do I get it?

Access to the Optometry Blog’s CET articles couldn’t be easier. By simply becoming a Subscriber to the Optometry Blog and paying an annual subscription, you will have access to the CET articles which are available for download. There will be one new article per month and articles are accredited for 12 months. Audio files are playable on MP3 players for learning whilst you are away from home or work or your PC whichever is most convenient.

So by becoming a Subscriber you will have access to a wide variety of interesting and challenging CET which is not available elsewhere.

How much is it?

The Optometry Blog’s comprehensive CET program is based upon a subscription model. By becoming a Subscriber to the Optometry Blog, you will receive the following benefits:

How do I subscribe to the online CET Programme?

You can become a subscriber to the Optometry Blog very easily. Simply browse the list of available CET and click on the link of an interesting article which will then take you to a sign up screen where you can enter your details and pay your annual subscription, you will then have access to the CET articles which are available for download.

By simply filling out the online registration form you will then be asked to create a username and password which is used to access the site. By then logging in you will have access to the CET articles which will be available for download.
